What we're about

Anxiety is a bitch. It effects everything. We often say things like, "I want to get a good education, job, lover, etc... but my anxiety gets in the way. I feel torn because I need to be around people so bad but at the exact same time...can't be." We ask questions like, "will I be alone forever?" and "Is it even possible for me to get over this thing?"

And probably worst of all is that feeling of..."No one gets me. No one understands what it is like to have this problem but me".

How many times has someone said, "Its easy, just get over it"?

Step 1: Just get over it
Step 2: Feel Better

If only it were that easy. Most people have no idea that even the thought of certain situations can cause our bodies to drug our blood full of adrenaline, cortisol, and other fight or flight chemicals. They don't get that certain situations can feel just like we are in the safari and a tiger is leaping straight at us with its claws drawn out.

Yep. Anxiety is a bitch.

The good news is that it is possible to overcome. It is possible to get better.

I started this group because I have noticed that anxiety is on the rise. Turns out that more and more people are finding themselves anxious each year. It is not clear why, but my guess is that because as we get more and more connected through technology in the virtual world...we become less and less connected in the real world.

Just a guess though...but makes sense to me.

When I was in my late teens my anxiety was crazy bad. It got to the point where I just about hid away for a couple years playing games and working 2nd shift (easy to avoid people).

I finally reached a point where I would do what ever it took to move beyond this thing. I went to work trying anything and everything. Eventually I cracked the code and overcame my social anxiety.

Since then I have read over 400 books on how we humans work, been through 1000s of hours of seminars, and became a certified coach and certified trainer.

If you are looking for a starting point for overcoming your anxiety, this group is for you.

So take that first baby step and sign up now.

Thank you,
