You're invited to join our 9:00 am Saturday morning group ride starting and ending at the Planet Cyclery Broomfield. The average pace will be between 13 and 14 miles per hour and the ride will last approximately three hours. We'll explore some of the local bike paths and experience some residential riding as well. The ride leaves the store every Saturday morning and is a "No Rider Left Behind" ride. Come out and join our ride leaders, for some fun outdoors.

This is truly a "No Drop Ride"! If you are new to the area and want to learn some biking routes, or are just looking for a fun, supportive group, join us this Saturday. Our ride leaders will help with mechanical problems and provide riding advice. We usually have from 20-30 riders.

This Saturday let's ride downhill for a change,,,yippee!!! We will take our standard detour to Big Dry Creek Trail and ride west for a short distance. Then riding a few roads (and parking lots) will bring us to the summit of Carr Hill!!! (How conveniently he left out the part about climbing Independence and Club Crest...) But wait...we always CLIMB Carr hill??? Not this time! We will head south "DOWN" Carr Hill to Brooks Drive. Then west on our little route past the ARVADA CEMETERY to start getting us in the mood for Halloween!

Things are going to get a little confusing here as we ride our regular route BACKWARDS to our secret gap in the fence to the Clear Creek Trail. After cruising east on the Clear Creek Trail, we will stop for a short break at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center to refill our water bottles. Then continue east to Tennyson and back to the shop. Lost ya??? No worry, this is a no drop ride and ya just gotta ride with the group!

We really welcome new riders to our group. So if you are new to the area or are just looking for a friendly bunch of riders, come give us a try!!! Things to bring: your bike, helmet, water bottle, spare tube and a friendly attitude.

LET'S LEAVE THE IN-THE-EAR HEADPHONES HOME. We will be riding on some roads and will need all of our senses to keep us safe!!!

As always, our mechanics will be available early for free safety checks and minor adjustments.

Let's be aired up and ready to go at 9:00 am.
