What we're about
We are group of individuals and families interested in a whole food plant based diet. We get together once a month for an informal and fun potluck meal at either our members homes, community rooms or restaurants.
If you could make healthy choices in what foods you put in your body to reduce your chances of getting cancer, would you take the time to learn how? As you age, do you want to maximize your quality of life? Do you see friends and family suffer through debilitating disease and wonder what you can do differently to change the course of your path?
Not everyone in Plant Strong in Lower Westchester is fully on a plant based diet (vegan), so give it a try. It is a learning process and journey to find the healthy balance of rich nutrient foods prepared with less or no added oils, salt and sugar. We love to share recipes, for which there are many.
