About Beach Tennis
A great sport, it's very easy to play and good fun, and it's suitable for most abilities and ages
Beach Tennis is a cross between Tennis, Volleyball & Badminton and is played on the same size court as Beach Volleyball 8 x 16m, the net is 1.7m high. The rackets are like paddles, balls are mini orange tennis balls (less pressurised). Scoring is similar to tennis, you get just one serve, there's no let and on 40-40 (deuce) you play a deciding point.
Come along to one of our sessions and have some fun on the sand! Everyone is welcome. Wear comfortable clothing. Best way to play is barefoot. All equipment is provided.
