What we're about

Playcrafting empowers the game development community through education, networking and collaboration. We offer workshops, classes and events for game developers and those aspiring to make games in topics including game design, programming, art, business and more. (Formerly The Games Forum)

IMPORTANT: We only use Meetup as a way to bring new people to our community events (such as our Demo Nights, panels, and Playtest Events). For our full list of events, including classes and workshops, please visit our website (www.playcrafting.com)

Class: Intro to Making Games with Unity (FREE)

Needs a location

Let’s learn Unity together! Unity is a powerful game engine that has been becoming increasingly popular. In just a few years, it has grown to a market share of 45% of all games being made with the engine. Why? Because it’s easy to use, the price is right, and it does what you need. Because it’s so easy, you should be able to make a game in Unity with no prior experience in game development or the engine itself. And that’s just what we’ll do in this free class. **Must bring your own laptop** Please have Unity downloaded upon arrival. You can find it free below: https://store.unity.com/download?ref=personal
