This friendly and supportive group is about making connections with others while playing some simple and fun games. The aim is to grow in self-confidence while getting rid of any fear and anxiety that hold us back.
It's ideal for anyone who wants to express themselves more freely, feel less socially anxious, challenge the boundaries of their comfort zones or practice public speaking while getting in touch with their playful and creative side.
All levels of improvisation, including beginners are welcome.
Improv is a form of live theatre where the plot, characters and dialogue are made up on the spot. No acting skills required, just a willingness to enjoy spontaneity, silliness and laughter together.
We start with some icebreakers and warm-up exercises and move onto some short playful scenes. We also incorporate some Laughter Yoga exercises and Mindfulness techniques into the sessions.
After the session, please join us in a nearby restaurant or pub to socialise.
