What is your earliest gaming memory?

Good question! We had some great old-school 1970's children's board games by Waddingtons that I played with my sisters (note: these games were not technically 'old-school' during the actual 1970s). Can't remember the names though...

Is there a favourite game you like to play?

Carcassonne is my all-time favourite. Such a beautiful and simple idea (let us not speak of some of the more outlandish expansions!) and great with 2 players.

What most interests you about the group?

There is only one law of game design: Playtest, Playtest, Playtest. Thinking about and designing games is a lot of fun, but when it comes to actually knowing whether they are any good, *just* thinking about them butters no parsnips.

I'm Brett and I'm (almost) a professional board game designer: My first published game 'Divinare' will be released by Asmodee in April 2012. I am also working on lots of other ideas, some of which are closer to publication than others!
