TIBURON TO FAIRFAX DISCOVERY RIDE

Distance: 30 miles, more or less.
Pace: Slow
Terrain: Practically level
RESPOND TO: [masked] An RSVP would be appreciated. Send me a message if you would like to carpool with someone.

The "aging" Den Daddy, Ride Leader Derek Liecty, is at it again. Derek and the Contra Costa Cycling Meetup Group have invited the Pleasanton Pedalers to join them for this leisurely, no-drop ride from beautiful Tiburon to historic Fairfax and back through San Rafael and the new Larkspur tunnel.

We will start at Blackie’s Pasture Park just off Tiburon Blvd. (see directions below) and head north along the bay and part of the famous “Tiburon Loop” with views of scenic San Quentin Prison to Larkspur, then westward along bike trails and quiet streets through opulent Ross to quaint San Anselmo where we will have a one-hour lunch break. A short distance further to Fairfax and a return through San Rafael and the Larkspur tunnel and back to Tiburon

WHERE: Blackie's Pasture, Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon, CA
Meet at Blackie's Pasture Park, Tiburon, parking lot located just off Tiburon Blvd. 1.5 mile east of Highway 101. Exit right off Tiburon Blvd. at Greenwood Beach Road to parking lot.

Wow!!! Tiburon ride was amazing! It turn out to be a nice day. I enjoyed meeting the other bikers and it was great to see the P-town Pedalers. Thank you again Derek for that great ride and the info on the riding safely class. I can't believe I rode up hills. Steven and Paula thank you for the ride to Tiburon.

Great, to ride downMain Street in the small towns, discovered new areas that were beautiful. Nice that the ride was a no drop ride, this makes you feel like a team. So good that everyone looks out for one another and great company. Glad that I went! Thank's for the fun day!!!
