    Paint the Parks! IDAHO results will be on display in the Alaska Building for First Thursday in downtown Boise on Oct. 4&5, 2018. PLEIN AIR paintings from the current year are to be displayed. Entries are due by September 4, 2018. PAPI dues paying members are invited to bring their works on Wednesday and enjoy our First Thursday reception starting at 5:00. Artists will pick up paintings after 3:00 on Thursday only (unless otherwise approved.) Details and sign-up are on www.pleinairpaintersofidaho.com website. This show is for dues paying members only.     Trailing of the Sheep Festival celebrates the sheep herding culture in Idaho. With thousands of visitors enjoying events from sheep dog trials, Folk Life Fair and ethnic food tastings, artists will have lots of opportunities for colorful plein air painting. Trailing of the Sheep has been named in the Top Ten Fall Festivals in the World. This Event is just around the corner !!! This festival is going all week (Oct 10-14) and there are many things to see and participate in- although PAPI EVENTS ARE ONLY ON THE WEEKEND, there are many classes and events offered through the festival. We encourage you to come up and enjoy the entire event!
