What we're about

Central Park, a world of its own, is also one of the most beautiful and fascinating parks on the planet. Every little hill and valley, crevice and corner, rock formation and grove of trees, lake and bridge, provide inspiration to any artist who would bring his sketchpad or easel. Lovers, musicians, skaters, cyclists, dog walkers, sunbathers, frisbee players, parents with children, and even artists themselves provide a rich palette of human subject matter. Come and join other painters, our colleagues in spirit, as we create spontaneous works of art in Central Park for all to enjoy.

We are hoping to meet once a month. Members are requested to bring their own materials. I am an artist who paints in oil, acrylic and water color. I have curated many exhibitions, and plan to eventually present another event based on selected works from Plein-Air.
