Our events will always be free, we will always have refreshments, and we are a no-judgment zone. Meaning there are no topics that are off-limits. No question is dumb. And everyone is invited.
About Nick May
I'm Nick May, the host of the Podcasting for Profits MeetUp group. I own a painting business in Denver called Walls by Design (https://wallsbydesign.com/), which I started in 1999. In about 2007, I launched a podcast called Small Business Naked (http://smallbusinessnaked.com/). With my co-host John Erbert, another local business owner, we interviewed successful entrepreneurs we would read about in Inc. and Entrepreneur Magazine and dive into what made them successful. In 2014, I started my second podcast called The Chaise Lounge (https://thechaiseloungepodcast.com/) (still in production), where I interview successful interior designers from across the country and tell their story of success. I did this simply to promote my painting business. In 2017, we launched The Student Lounge Podcast (https://thestudentloungepodcast.com/) for interior design students. It was my first podcast to produce, but not be involved with as the host. Also in 2017, I started https://thebusinessbrush.com (https://thebusinessbrush.com/), to help other painting contractors figure out the business side of running a painting business. In late 2018, we launched Coast to Coast Design (https://coasttocoastpodcast.com) another podcast about the interior design world, with two hosts from either ends of the country. Along the way, I created iMay Media, the company that runs the small empire.
My hope is to help others in Denver that are interested in podcasting. Lots of people are starting podcasts and few have figured out how to create a business out of it. Here at iMay Media, we can help you. We have a professional, but not expensive podcast studio for rent. We can help with editing and even setting up the whole thing.
