What we're about

Polar Bear has been going since 2011-12 and has been running on Facebook since 2013 and have just now (2018) joined Meetup. We play on weekends from Nov-Mar. As of summer 2019, we now also offer Friday Night Lights played from May thru Sept from 5pm to 10:30pm under the lights. 3'-6' Lob, 46' mound, 65' bases , leading on the release (but you can be picked off via force play)& CoEd cones in the OF(OF must remain past cones until contact is made)!!! Generally we play triple headers ( aprox 45 min), 5 innings (so that those waiting aren't waiting too long) with a 1-1 count. Women here are treated as equals and play by the same rules as the men. The first 22 that check in and pay fee will play in game 1 while the next 11 play the winner in game 2. Upon arrival check in with Spider and or Andy to pay your fee of $2 ( without a permit) or $5 (with use of permit) per person to cover group costs. Just because your groups are done for the year doesn't mean softball is done. Real ballers play winter ball. If you build it, they will come.
