David Schniedeckr, is currently Search Coordinator for the Tribal Historic Preservation Office of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. He is a, tribal archaeologist for the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum will speak about the rich legacy of Southeastern U.S. and Florida Seminole people. Much of David’s responsibilities as tribal archaeologists are to visit, research and consult on Native-American archaeological sites throughout Florida for the state and on behalf of the Seminole. David will share his knowledge of the history of the Seminoles, their beliefs, culture and ways.The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum which houses over 180,000 unique artifacts and archival items is located in the Big Cypress Swamp Reservation.
