Steve Koski, archaeologist for Sarasota County and president of our sister society, WMSLSS.org in North Port will present a program reveling the incredible prehistory of both Warm Mineral Springs and nearby Little Salt Springs.. Both sinkholes and springs have shown use by the early peoples of Florida between 6,000 and 13,000 years ago. A must for residence interested in anthropology, archaeology and underwater archaeology. Steve earned his Bachelor of Anthropology and Archaeology from the University of Massachusetts and his Master's from Arizona State. He is currently Sarasota County's county archaeologist.
