Hey Bird Lovers!
Let’s kick off Earth Day 2024 by scoping out the scene at Whitaker Ponds! The theme seems to be Yellow-rumped Warblers everywhere, chupping away with their sunny yellow throats. Some even have snowy white throats that glow! The foliage is overflowing with beauty, from crows to towhees to flickers of hope. Won’t you come and join us on this earthly expedition? If we hear a Hermit Thrush sing, it could be otherworldly…
Come early if you’d like to give the ponds some love in return for her kind refuge - clean-up starts at 8 am!
