A few questions if you don't mind (replying to all as some of the questions will possibly help others)
How long of a set/how many songs per set?
Also, is it original music only? Or are covers fine?
It looks 99% sure that I won't be able to make the 22nd, but would definitely like to come down for the 29th.

There is a PA and 2 microphones.
Remember this is an Open Mike, not a jam, so organized for performers to do a short set, with their own accompanying music and instruments.
There is no house band at this intimate club.

Special Event - 2 weeks only - Open Mike at Thorne Lounge 4260 SE Hawthorne Wednesday 8/22 and 8/29 6 - 10 pm (sign up and playing starts at 6:00, some slots are booked in advance, some open for first come, first serve) Come and sing, listen, eat, drink. Bring enough audience and you can get booked for your own gig by event planner Rachel.
