Scott Mount is an experience design leader who has spent almost 20 years creating and managing diverse teams of interaction designers, researchers, and content strategists on strategic design projects from product concept to launch. As Principal UX Lead at The Home Depot's Vancouver headquarters, Scott uses methods and techniques from across the design thinking toolbox, particularly those he learned as a LUMA-institute certified Instructor while at Autodesk, to better immerse himself in and empathize with Home Depot's myriad stakeholders and customers in the process of creating great new user experiences.

Join us on February 20 when Scott will introduce us, and lead us through, some of the human-centered design tools he can't work without, from ethnographic research to problem framing to prototyping.
