Our dances from many traditions will support the theme of peace, with a special focus on the Ram Nam Mantram.
“The Ram Nam Mantra is thousands of years old, the melody itself, ancient. In those thousands of years, its vibration of peace has continually been fed into the atmosphere. Through our chants, we are ourselves continuing to feed that vibration of peace into the atmosphere, replenishing it in the Akasha and keeping it alive.”
This event is about experiencing peace first-hand, actively creating peace in the community. Join hands in a circle of friendly people to dance simple movements while singing sacred phrases from the world's wisdom traditions. It will feed your soul, release stress and improve your immune system. Together we form a living energy mandala, and imbue it with a vibration of peace that radiates out to the world. Every dance is fully taught in minutes by certified dance leaders. No experience or partner necessary. Always live music! For more information: movingmeditations-dup.com. WE DANCE EVERY TUESDAY!
