It’s been a while since I cranked out some miles purely for the satisfaction of it... so let’s do this... but wait... so it’s a long ... out and back (10 miles each way... you do the math) with very little elevation gain... but there are sights aplenty ... the winding river and the gorge it cuts through... the stark beauty of the terrain... and once in a while a chance to see big horn sheep... yeah it’s a long day and we will start early and keep a good pace and stay together for the most part ... so it this is a walk in the park or you want to push yourself to bag your first 20 miler ... join me ... the weather looks dry I’m the Dalles ...

This trial is the old railroad grade... bring good hiking shoes or boots ... the ten essentials... 3 liters of water ..your phone for Picts ... and food for lunch
