Last minute hike/snowshoe to Nesika

Lets hike and maybe snowshoe to Nesika Lodge in the gorge. The total distance is about 7 miles with about 1800' elevation. Looking at the pictures from Christmas it seems to be about a foot of snow at this elevation. Traction devices and poles are manditory and snowshoes are optional, I will bring my snowshoes and have an extra pair to lend. The drive is 50 miles round trip and you do not need a forest park pass. If anyone has up to date snow levels at Nesika please post.

I didn't get this till this morning but its perfect! Haha! Thanks for the offer on yaks, I'll take them if you're certain you don't need them for yourself or as a backup. I'm trying to connect with Marianne who graciously carried my micro spikes down from Adams in July but I forgot to get them when we reached camp. Thanks and I'll see you in the morning :)

Edie, Well behaved dogs are welcome, please do not allow dogs to run past hikers, the trail will be slick with ice.

the trail is well broken and packed. You won't need snowshoes but you will want traction devices
