Re-scheduling this hike that was rained out early in the month:
This is the best time of the year to be outside - cool, quiet, and no bugs to worry about! Obviously, being December, this hike is geared toward those who enjoy winter and the cold weather. We'll meet for a hike of about 6 miles; specific trail to be determined by weather conditions and snow conditions at that time. Same with food...if the temperature is relatively mild, we'll pack a picnic lunch; if it's cold, we'll go to lunch at a nearby restaurant. A great way to spend an early December day - we always have a super time on these early winter hikes. If there is snow on the ground, we can bring snowshoes and cross country skis.
I will update closer to the day, once we know for sure the weather and trail conditions.
As with all outdoor events, hikes are at members' risk.
Hope to see you there!
