Fwd: Grit City Readers Cult News

From: Cindy R.

I'm really not one to spam people with ads...but I thought that this was a relevant publishing opportunity to share with fellow writers--as you can see below "open for submissions to novels and shorts." I think this is a really exciting new media for books. I plan on submitting a short to them.

The Source for News about Grit City and the Emotobooks Revolution

October 11, 2011
This is your weekly Reader's Cult newsletter to keep you informed about newly released issues, news, and blog updates.

New Gritty Blog Posts
The Gritty Blog highlights the creative process of fiction writers and artists throughout the country. This week, YA Fantasy/Romance author, Raine Thomas, discusses using humor to keep a story moving forward. Her post is a funny must read. We're sure you'll enjoy it.

GC4 Released Last Week
The success of the Grit City emotobooks is phenomenal. If you haven't snagged your copy of our fourth issue, we invite you to download your copy from  Amazon or Barnes & Noble. iBooks hasn't released it yet. They're being cranky.

Remember, Grit City is a fast reading experience. Many are reading these installments on the bus to work or during lunch breaks.

Grit City Publications Gets a New Look
We've updated the website with new placeholder pages for our 2012 catalog of emotobooks. You'll see links for the EmotoSerials and EmotoSingles pages. It's important that we start softening the ground for future titles from the talented authors and illustrators.

GCP is Open for Submissions
As we announced a couple weeks ago, we've opened our doors to fiction writing submissions. We are still seeking fantastic manuscripts from writers, who wish to become part of the emotobooks  revolution. We are currently building a community of authors, illustrators, and editors that work together to craft the best possible fiction reading experience.

Share the Love
Be sure to forward this email to your friends and family. Most people still don't know about our adventure. It's readers like you that make Grit City possible.

Social Media
Follow Grit City on Facebook and Twitter. You can also circle Ron Gavalik on Google+. Social networking is a great way for everyone to come together and discuss the series, emotobooks, and other fun topics.

Thank you...
Producing our continuing story requires great amounts of fortitude and determination from our creative team. The enjoyment our readers receive from the story fuels our passion to conjure a gritty world of malice and justice.

If you have suggestions, send them over.

Sincerely,
The Team
