What we're about

Did you long to act, recreate some of your favorite movies or plays, or just read and learn from great scripts?

Come join us and read a movie script or a play! Take on the role of one of your favorite characters for an evening.

Only basic literacy is required to join (and we'll work with you if that is a challenge), ABSOLUTELY NO experience acting or performing necessary.

The emphasis on the material performed are pieces that:

- are well-balanced (lot's of people speaking, not just one person monologuing)
- do not deal with extreme violence, strong sexual content, or racism
- are FUN!

Suggestions welcome!

No assigned roles, we take turns!

!!! NOTE: - ***Please obtain a copy of the script*** https://theliterat.files.wordpress.com/2016/01/arcadia.pdf, buy it, or get it from the library. - I'll be at the entrance from 6:45pm until 7:05pm, if you arrive earlier or later it may be difficult to get in the building. We'll pick up from where we left off during the first reading. If you didn't attend the first session, there's plenty of time to catch up! "It has been praised by many critics as the finest play from one of the most significant contemporary playwrights in the English language.[1] In 2006, the Royal Institution of Great Britain named it one of the best science-related works ever written." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcadia_(play) See you there! PS: There are no defined roles, we switch around periodically to give everyone a chance to read.
