Doors will open at 6PM for refreshments and networking, and will close when presentations begin at 6:30pm. Three talented professionals will share their work:
• Multi-Modal Streets
Oliver Kuehne is a senior planner and urban designer at HDR (http://www.hdrinc.com/). He studied architecture and urban planning in Stuttgart, Germany, and has over a decade of experience of using SketchUp as a design and visualization tool.
• 3D Visualization for Innovative Concepts in Transportation
Nick Falbo is an local bike-lane proponent and urban planner at Alta Planning (http://www.altaplanning.com/)+ Design (http://www.altaplanning.com/). His video, "Protected Intersections" (http://vimeo.com/86721046), has drawn the eyes of over a half a million people, and has been featured by WIRED.
• Using GeoLocation Tools for Skatepark Design
Dug Ketterman (http://www.krop.com/dketterman/#/) is the lead conceptual and technical designer at California RampWorks (http://carampworks.com/), an action sports company. He has been been involved in managing Skateparks since he was 17, and most recently designed the skate ramps of Dew Tour.

We want to see your work! Show us how you integrate modeling into your flow. One week before the event, we'll send an invitation to all registered guests to provide 1-3 work samples. These will be displayed on screen before and after the presentations.
Remember, you don't need to be a professional, or even especially good at using SketchUp to join this MeetUp group. If you are on the fence after reading this far, consider this: We are expecting to attract a wide range of skill levels and industry expertise. That diversity is what will make this group strong!
