I may not make it, however my intent of going was to ask that event leaders look at adding easy or moderate hikes for those of us who are not experienced hikers or to have talks on hiking, equipment, etc. same with backpacking. I love to hike but am not in good enough condition to do the typical hike of this group. I want to get better, however it is a process. Thank you for listening if i can't make it in person.

It's too bad that this is scheduled on the same evening Sierra Club is trying to get folks to Longview to stop coal exports: http://action.sierraclub.org/site/PageServer?pagename=event_FLD_WA_LongviewHearingsRSVPLongview_NR&autologin=true&s_src=213JCOEW03. I'm hoping to do both--but it probably means that I will have to drive to Longview by myself to be back on time. Anyone wanting to carpool from this group?
