What we're about

Our Mission: To make Yoga accessible to all! No paid subscriptions or membership dues, just you, your mat and a bottle of water! We do accept donations as well as yoga equipment, like mats straps or blocks, so that we may have extras available for classes. We hope to make everyone comfortable and safe within their skill level and ability to do yoga. No one is required to do or to try any pose, and everyone is expected to practice safety and to stay within their own physical limits. The benefits from practicing yoga do not require competition or perfection. The benefits from practicing yoga come from maintaining and enhancing your body's ability to move, to stay flexible, and to experience the free flow of energy within. Namaste.

Thursday, 6:15: ONLINE Gentle Yoga with Chiaki, yoga therapist

Therapeutic/Gentle Yoga. People at all levels of yoga experience are welcome in this class. This class qualifies for a rating as a therapeutic and "gentle" yoga class. Chiaki has a lot of training in therapeutic yoga and is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT).

All levels of experience are welcome in this class.

Please show up 10 minutes early if you are new to this class so that the instructor can explain some points about the class.

Donations and feedback are welcomed and appreciated. Please pay what you are comfortable with (by Venmo @ChiakiSmillie, or PayPal, or Zelle). If you would like to seek more personalized program, Chiaki offers one-on-one online yoga therapy session.

Please prepare:
1. Your screen device (laptop, iPad, smartphone etc.). You need a Zoom app installed in the device (please make sure you have the latest version) but you don't need a Zoom account.
2. Loose fitting clothing
3. Yoga mat if you have one (or a large towel)
4. Reusable water bottle for yourself (optional).
Also optional: feel free to bring any gear that you find helpful. (Pillows and a chair might come in handy.)
