Check your settings.  In the upper right hand corner by your name, click on account and then Membership and Communication.  I have mine set to "one daily mailing list" and only had one e-mail this morning with all the responses included instead of a bazillion individual e-mails.
 
I have found the amount of Meetup e-clutter I have received has been cut down drastically since I set all my groups up this way.
