The Giving Tree Holiday Campaign for Homeless Pets and Toys for Tots!

Introducing "The Giving Tree", a charitable campaign to help find homes for more pets in shelters, and acquire more supplies to help care for them until then. The Giving Tree Event will use local pet supply stores as venues for placement of a Christmas Tree decorated with ornaments of cats and dogs in need of homes, and supply requests. Shoppers at the store will be able to choose ornaments to purchase items requested by the shelters, as well as view animals in need of homes. Would you like to help us with this campaign?

We will be meeting again on 11/30/16 at Clinton Public Library to discuss our progress, and make more animal Christmas ornaments, and decorated donation bins.  In addition, Black Thistle Farm Chicken Rescue of Clinton will be joining us in a campaign for Toys for Tots, sponsored by the chickens themselves!  Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to this campaign to help local children in need. Special postcards from our group and Black Thistle Farm Chicken Rescue will be attached to the toys we donate.

We hope that you will come would like to help out and join in the fun! Holiday cookies or snacks will be served.

We have a lot of fun work to do tonight - and can use help from each and every one of you. Bring a friend if you want, or RSVP now - it's not too late! Gingerbread and chocolates will make our night festive. Lots of animals need our help, and this is a great seasonal way to do it! If folks can get there as early as possible, that would be great. If you can't, we'll still need your help, so come anyway!

Friends, we've gotten one small supply store in Marlboro to agree to a tree so far, and will be preparing ornaments for several participating shelters. This meeting will be a fun get-together and holiday craft night.
