Describe your perfect ride.

35 miles, moderately hilly on country roads, through woods, fields and small towns -- in the spring or fall.

What type of bike do you ride?

Novara (REI) Randonee.

Are you willing to wear a helmet and bring a spare tube, a pump and water each time you ride?

Absolutely! When I lead rides, helmets are MANDATORY. No helmet, no ride.

What pace do you prefer?

"C" pace, about 15 mph on flat roads, faster downhill and as slow as necessary going uphill.

Potomac Pedaler club member and ride leader. I look at the rides as 50% exercise and 50% socialzing. A great way to meet interesting people. Lunch or a drink afterwards is an essential part of the ride.
