It is this passion and enthusiasm that means the business continues to live up to its promise of being run “by fans, for fans” and makes it such an exciting and rewarding place to work.
Fanatics will be offering a personalised shirt of the team of their choice to one lucky winner - this raffle will take place on the conclusion of Marek's talk.
Paul Heath (Head of BI/Data) is going to present on Fanatics recent venture with Power BI Report Server utilising the data from Black Friday which takes place the Friday prior to the event.
Chris Woolderink is an independent Power BI consultant who is specialized in DAX. As a Power BI User Group Leader in The Netherlands he likes to give back to the community by organizing or speaking at local and international Power BI events.
As a technical chef he likes to prepare a data buffet for his self service BI customers in The Netherlands. If that doesn't fulfill their needs, then serving "a la carte" DAX dishes is one of his specialties as well. All is not possible without combining a selection of raw data ingredients into new and innovative recipes and a kitchen equipped with the latest and greatest cookware of the Azure Data Platform.
Abstract: "Power BI is the most beautiful girl (or boy!) in the classroom. She is getting all the attention, but only a few have the courage to take the next step and initiate a chat. In order to be successful, you must also be able to express yourself. Then you realize that you need to speak a language called DAX. The goal of this session is to give you enough courage to make that initial move and start interacting through DAX."
