Power Partners weekly meeting

Black Walnut Cafe

Meeting Schedule: Tuesdays 8a – 9a at Black Walnut, 1205 Church Street, Colleyville, TX 76034. We have an agenda which includes member and guest introductions, business and marketing tips and a discussion on a member business dilemma. Who can attend? Our group meets by invitation only. We invite one person per profession and we’d like this to be your primary business networking group. How do I join? You reserve your spot by regularly attending meetings and participating in the group. We do track attendance and ask that you not miss more than 6 meetings in a rolling 6-month period. You are allowed to send a sub in your place. We also ask that you arrive at the meeting on-time (arrival after 8:05a is considered a tardy). Three tardies equals one absence. We want committed members who are willing to get to know each other—this will make us more comfortable in referring business to each other. If you are unable to attend a meeting, please let one of the officers know (via text message or GroupMe) so we know not to expect you. We ask that you submit a membership form to be approved by leadership. New members are voted in by the Leadership Team (simple majority) the first Tuesday of each month. You can attend as a guest a maximum of two times. After two times, you will be asked to make a decision about choosing to join the group. Members may be removed from the group at the discretion of the leadership team, by a majority vote, for non-compliance. How much does it cost? We don’t have a membership fee, however, we do have a 50/50 raffle which helps our group with miscellaneous expenses. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. If you bring a guest, you receive a ticket per guest. We draw and split the total at the end of each meeting. Black Walnut is a great host, so we do encourage you to arrive early and order something to eat or drink. Who do I contact?
