Meditation is not easy. When trying to still the mind we are confronted by its restlessness, or, if we are tired we may doze off into a relaxing snooze. That is not meditation. Meditation in its fullness takes us into deeper awareness of ourselves and of the world we live in. Not an easy thing to do on your own. Proper instruction, regularity and discipline is a must. That is why the Mohanji Foundation offers beginning meditators, as well as more advanced meditators exploring new paths, guided meditations in a group setting. With guidance there is no struggle to still the mind, all one has to do is to relax and follow the guiding voice. It will take you to levels beyond yourself or deep within yourself. The group setting provides invisible support during the meditation plus the opportunity to exchange experiences afterwards. Questions can be put to the group for discussion. One difficulty for a beginning meditator trying on his own is that the relaxed state may allow for the upwelling of unwanted mental imagery. Suppressed emotions or desires find easy access into the conscious mind and may start to trouble us. That is why experienced guidance is important. There are three main meditations we use. The meditation 'Power of Purity' [50 mins] has been specifically designed to remove deep seated blockages and clear pathways. 'Bliss of Silence' [40 mins] uses breath technique to quiet the mind and enter deep stillness within, while 'Blossoms of Love' [35 mins] is an active expansion of consciousness. It takes us in a loving state beyond ourselves into universal awareness. All meditations assist spiritual growth and were received for this purpose by Brahmarishi Mohanji, a contemporary, living Self Realized Master. His energy is uplifting and many meditators have commented on the blessings received by connecting to his guidance and the spiritual tradition to which he belongs. As a special blessing participants may elect to receive Mohanji Energy Transfer during the meditations which helps spiritual advancement. We invite you to experience for yourself.
