• What we'll do The holidays are over and the house is back in order. It's time to get started. Please join me as I share with you my journey: I’ve spent the morning looking through old photos. I’m specifically looking for “before” pic on my health journey. It was such a telling exercise. All the running, 5K and half marathon training and low fat eating I was doing and the weight kept piling on. Then a drastic difference once I started working with a functional medicine doctor when I began learning about whole, real food healthy fat and hydration. Then another shift in both my husband and myself through my studies with the Nutritional Therapy Association. I’m proud to be certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. No, eating fat does not make me fat!!! I’ve learned the satisfying power of whole, real food and no longer find I need sugar or caffeine as fuel. My health, skin, hormones and energy have all been impacted. I have found that food has an incredible restorative power and that what we eat can build or break us. What an amazing journey I’ve been on. Though it began with pain and a body almost broken I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I'd like to share with you how I've combined my personal chef skills and my nutritional training in helping to educate others. • What to bring You and any questions you might have about whole foods and a water bottle. • Important to know I'll be charging $5.00 at the door to help cover the cost of the rental room. It's a beautiful space and we will enjoy meeting here together.
