Drinks and Discussion

Please join us for a monthly discussion group! We'll provide drinks, you bring the conversation!

This month Marty will play excerpts from the new Cosmos series. If the sky is clear, we can also find some stars that are distances away equal to our ages. For instance, if someone is 30 we can identify stars like Kappa Ceti whose light we are seeing today left the star when that person was born.

Each month we'll have a different topic - sometimes posted in advance with related articles, videos or other information you may find helpful to exploring the topic. This is a relatively informal, round-table style discussion, facilitated by a host.

Also, if, and how, you think humanity might end.

For questions or to suggest a particular topic, email or call Cori at 928.710.6429.

Not an event for children.

Thank you, Marty and Anita for your wonderful hospitality. There was so much energy in that meeting. Thanks to all of you for your comments and ideas. That video was wonderful. I'd like my kids to see it. Carol Miller

Marty and Anita, Thank you so much for hosting the event on Monday night. I enjoyed the great company, comments, and discussion. Mostly, I appreciated how well Marty allowed discussion to develop but made every effort to direct it and keep it focused. Well done!
