Welcome to the Prime-Time Knit Wits! We are a small social knitting group of mature, liberated women in Vancouver WA. Come make new friends while you discover new fiber skills, help a new knitter, share your expertise and projects, get help with snags and questions, go on field trips to special yarn events. We meet in each other's homes, or in libraries or restaurants, mornings, afternoons or evenings, week days or weekends, as our members choose.

We offer a two month FREE TRIAL membership. New members must attend at least one event during the two months free trial. After the trial membership has ended, if you decide you want to remain in Knit Wits, you must pay the pro-rated annual dues.

Read the Rules for Membership below and click "JOIN"! Then check out our schedule for this month and plan to attend an event soon so we can meet you!

Rules for Membership:

1) Annual dues: We ask all members to pay an annual membership fee of $12.00 in January each year to offset Meetup.com website costs and incidental meeting expenses. The annual fee is from January to December, and is PRO-RATED for members who join later in the year. The membership fee is non-refundable.

2) Your Photo must be 50% FACE! Please post a close-up photo of just yourself on your profile page in which you are clearly recognizable. No dogs, hubbies, kids, etc. Your face should cover 50% of photo. This is required mainly for home event safety, but also, it really helps members connect names to faces more easily. Just think how nice it is when someone recognizes you when you come to a meeting!

3) Active Members attend at least 4 events during the year so that we can get to know each other better. We do not have room on our small roster for members who do not attend events. All group members will share in making this a fun and friendly group, welcoming new members, help in planning events, providing snacks, and general group upkeep. Your active participation will keep our group fresh, lively and relevant.

4) Courtesy and kindness First and Always! Let's be gentle with each other and practice the Golden Rule. NO-SHOW's are a discourtesy to the hostess as well as to other members at the event. Everyone's plans change at times, we all must remember to cancel our RSVP's as soon as we learn we will not be able to get to the event.

Thank you for reading this far! I hope you have already clicked "Join"! If you have any questions about anything, please email Margot (the Group Organizer) directly by clicking the link on the left-hand side-banner next to my photo.
