What we're about

Princeton Old-Time and Celtic Jam is a motley group of musicians who enjoy getting together to play a variety of old-time, Scottish, Irish and traditional tunes.
The group meets monthly on the first Sunday evenings of each month, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Christ Congregation church at 80 Walnut Lane, Princeton, NJ 08540.
The format is sitting in a circle, with each musician in turn selecting a piece from a tune list. The group will then play the tune multiple times. Playing by ear is the norm, but sheet music is allowed for those who are more comfortable with it. Harmonies and variations are welcome.
Musicians of all abilities and ages are encouraged to attend - please let your musical friends know about this group! Bring your fiddle, mandolin, banjo, recorder, flute, concertina, spoons, bodhran, or whatever you would like to play!
Schedule for 2019 includes:
Sunday, April 7, 7-9pm
Sunday, May 5, 7-9pm

There will be a minimal fee, and you can bring finger food refreshments to share at the 8:00 break.
Hope to see you there!
