Register at this link: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_6DwBf7XKRZ-YugqqKwDI6A This is a Leading the Product (LTP) event. Product Anonymous proudly supports LTP. Product Talks Meetups from around the region are gathering to discuss the 7 Ps of Product. It’s Brainmates new way of envisioning modern, best-practice Product Management which will officially be launched at Leading the Product (Digital) - https://bit.ly/ltp_partner_pa - on 2 September 2020. Brainmates CEO and Co-Founder, Adrienne Tan, will introduce the 7 Ps of Product and then be joined by three speakers from the Conference for a panel discussion on the 7 Ps and their relevance and importance to Product Management today. Adrienne will be joined by: - Klaas Raaijmakers, Head of Product, Stan (Promotion) - Caitlin Blackwell, Head of Product, Seek (Problem) - Jeremiah Lee, Engineering Manager, Invision (Practice) Each speaker will be tackling one of the Ps during the Conference and will give us a sneak peek at the key insights from their upcoming talk as well as their overall their take on the 7 Ps. What are the 7 Ps of Product? The 7 Ps (Problem, Purpose, Position, Price, Practice, Promotion, Performance) allow Product Managers to rise above the day-to-day slog and truly think through what makes a successful Product and how to make it happen. It builds on the best aspects of the 7 Ps of marketing, orients them on Product Management, and fits them to today’s world. What is Leading the Product (Digital)? The Leading the Product Conference is run by Brainmates. It has grown and sold out every year since it started in 2015. This year they've turned it into an immersive, interactive, digital experience. Leading the Product (Digital) will feature Product and business leaders from around the world, but what makes it different from other conferences is how live participation will shape the day. - The audience will collaboratively make decisions which change the way the day unfolds. - During the day everyone will co-create an e-Book which they'll take home to embed their learning and share with their team.
- Marketing does USPs and Product does not
Earlier this year, there was a request on ProdAnon Slack to explore Marketing 101. This session is to explore marketing, the relationship between our two groups and what this means for folk in Product. Some of the things we hope you will learn from the session: - How do marketing & product work well together? - What are the different skill sets/strengths that each bring to the team which help the outcomes? - If Product doesn’t have a great relationship with marketing now, how can that be improved? Actions to take? Conversations to have? - Even if the relationship is good, how can they work better together? Our speakers: Ellias Appel - https://www.linkedin.com/in/ellias-appel/ I like to joke that I’ve worn many hats in my career, and yet not one of them was a Fez! I’m still trying to decide if that’s a good thing or not. Having worked in advertising, sales, development planning and management, financial modelling and reporting, marketing, strategy, copywriting, grant applications, and most recently product development, I like to think I’m multi-disciplinary. I’m passionate about not getting caught up in titles and the machinations of fitting square pegs into round holes. As the kids say these days: I’m solution focussed. When I’m not pondering business stuff, whipping up a curry, avoiding my housemates (aka my kids), bingeing something with co-manager (aka my wife), or sneaking in a bit of gaming, you’ll probably find me DJing in my lair as I try to figure out how to drop Sussudio into a techno set and not have things collapse in a heap. Carleen Harawira- https://www.linkedin.com/in/carleen-harawira/ I am a data-led marketer with commercial acumen and a DNA of delivery. I have a history of leading innovative marketing initiatives in challenged business environments. I am particularly interested in creating and managing ecosystems to deliver cohesive and personalized experiences across all advertising and marketing channels. Currently Marketing Planning Manager at Bunnings, previously worked with Liz at Sensis as Group Marketing Manager for Yellow Pages.
