Our Speakers for the evening:

Mike Crook
Mike has held senior leadership roles for the last eight. Focusing on company-wide digital strategy and transformation. Through technology, product development, business intelligence and organizational design.

Gamestorming: Helping teams solve problems
If your role requires you to bring people together to solve problems or reach a group outcome then Gamestorming can help. I’ve used Gamestorming to help small and large teams work through problems, designed workshops for ideation and product testing. As well as designed commercial workshops that our business now offer as repeatable services to clients. In this talk I’ll explain what Gamestorming is, why use it and how to use it, along with practical examples.

Matt Todd
Founder of Fluent Forward, a value-first technology consultancy. We help companies build high performing development teams, often with the people they already have. We question everything, and thrive on helping teams develop working practices tailored to their unique personal and business needs.

The Value of Product
Agile is everywhere, yet most teams feel their organisation has a poor understanding of value delivered. In this talk I share some reasons on why this might be as well as some practical ways to enable a value-driven development process.

Vee Rogacheva
Vee is a UX designer at Jisc. As part of the product team of OpenAthens, Vee designs for the needs of academic, public and corporate libraries all around the world. Before joining the OpenAthens team, Vee used to advise local government and other not-for-profit organizations on user-centred design.

UX and Agile
Agile is hard as it is but what happens when we get User Experience and User-centred design into the mix? As Agile and UX are reaching maturity there is an increased need to find a way to align the two processes. During her talk, Vee will share insight on how Agile and UX could work better together from Nielsen Norman Group and her own practice.
