As part of the first-ever World Product Day - where 80+ ProductTanks are running on the same day all over the world (find out more at http://worldproductday.com/) - we are bringing you inspiring and practical talks that will give you new knowledge and skills to put into practice the next day.
For this special occasion, our speakers will focus on the value that comes from deeply understanding *all* users of your products and services, helping you better meet their needs and unlock greater business value.
12:00 PM: Arrive and networking lunch
12:30 PM: “Shift to the left and realise the benefits” by Bri Norton, including Q&A
13:15 PM: "Disrupting sameness" by Lily Ainsworth, including Q&A

This month's speakers are:
Bri Norton (Accessibility and Inclusivity Lead at Digital Transformation Agency)
Talk: “Shift to the left and realise the benefits”
Why it's a good business decision to embed accessibility early and throughout the product development process
Bri is a professional digital strategist with 16-years of experience enabling organisations to achieve a competitive digital presence, creating user-friendly and accessible experience for optimal stakeholder engagement; providing effective and efficient service delivery. Bri turns disengaged end users into enthusiastic contributors.
Lily Ainsworth (Anthropologist and User Researcher at Digital Transformation Agency)
Talk: “Disrupting sameness”
How being exposed to vastly different ways of being in this world helps increase creativity, inclusivity, and confidence in your product.
Lily is an overly enthusiastic anthropologist, totally curious about the ways humans interact with one another and the world around them. She has a strong interest in accessibility and inclusivity, and is driven in her work to ensure digital products and services are developed with a range of human stories, perspectives, and experiences in mind.
This month our event is supported by the Digital Transformation Agency, a federal government agency that is working to accelerate government's digital initiatives. The DTA has a strong understanding of the product discipline and want to support the product community in Canberra. For more information, head over to http://www.dta.gov.au (http://www.dta.gov.au/)
