We're thrilled to be able to bring you a ProductTank Perth meetup unlike any other with Marty Cagan in-person to talk about why Product is hard.

Whether you're starting out in Product Management for the first time, or been in the game for a while, Marty Cagan is a name you've likely heard before. As the author of "INSPIRED", the founder of Silicon Valley Product Group (SVPG), and having previously held executive roles at Hewlett-Packard, Netscape Communications, and eBay, he is one of the most influential figures in Product Management & Product Leadership today.

This is one ProductTank meetup you won't want to miss. Pencil in April 2, and come down and listen to Marty talk about why Product is hard!

Please note that attendance is currently capped at 150 people and registrations are required in order to attend. If you wish to bring a guest, please have them register separately. And if you can no longer attend, please kindly update your attendance status to make your spot available for those on the waitlist.

Summary:
"I have been coaching product people and teams for many years, and mostly the questions I get are straightforward, but occasionally, I'll get a truly tough question. The type that doesn't have a clear cut answer, and it's not obvious what the best course of action might be, but can really make a difference in your success. In this talk, I'll be posing these questions, and then I'll be sharing my opinions and reasoning. Nothing pertaining to product is off limits. We'll talk about politics, culture and even (process) religion. We'll discuss prioritization and decision making, especially when we don't have as much data as we'd like; handling very difficult people, especially senior executives; managing conflict on the team; dealing with low morale; changing company culture; regaining control of your time, and picking your battles. We will also have a Q&A where you can pose your own tough questions."
