🎙 José Rodrigues - Building a design culture outside design departments ##
Designer @ dashdash

📝 Abstract
When thinking about design most of us think about execution, technical skills, photoshop. And that’s ok, but not ok, but ok. Design should be a key decision driver within organisations. A strong design culture gives birth to products that outpace competitors and attract loyal customers. Design is more and sometimes less, clichés are fun.

👤 Bio

# Product & Design - Why they should be an inseparable duo
We'll expand on José's talk a talk about the importance of Product and Design working closely together.

- José Rodrigues - Designer @ dashdash

- Ruca Sousa Marques - CoFounder & CEO @ Switch

Ruca had his first incursion into the payments industry back in 2012. Back then, he co-founded cashtag, a mobile P2P payments app invested by Seedcamp, the biggest European startup accelerator. Confronted with such a fragmented industry - built on top of arcane legacy systems - he later set himself up to build a new payments infrastructure from the ground up, connecting the entire value chain through a modern and flexible payments platform (Switch) where he now serves as CEO

- Helena Barros - Junior Product Designer @ Farfetch

After studying multiple design areas since early years, I've discovered that with the mix of technology and daily problem-solving we get the result of UX UI design. With this new passion I've been pursuing a way to become a unicorn in the area while working at Farfetch as a Product Designer.
