Some of the most common challenges a Product Manager faces – like influencing people you don't have management responsibility for, or developing empathy for users/customers – can all be improved by applying the skills of emotional intelligence.
Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and manage our emotions, empathise with and relate to others in a skilful way. Research has shown that effectiveness and performance correspond highly with emotional intelligence at the group and individual level, so, how can you use it to your advantage?
In this talk, Sarah Nguyen will share her insights on emotional intelligence and guide you through some practical exercises designed to improve your EI. Come with a good sense of curiosity and prepare to get involved.
