    About the speakers:

    Ben Foster

    Ben is a local startup advisor (Canvas, OrderGroove, Videoblocks, Contently, Contactually, FiscalNote, and almost a dozen more!) and former VP of Product @ Opower, Ben Foster.

    Ben has had an amazing career that has spanned the world of high-tech, going as far back as a stint at the famous dotcom company Webvan in the Bay area, through Product Management at Ebay during the halcyon days, and most recently was VP of Product at Opower, one of the DC area's best success stories.

    Since 2014, Ben has focused on mentoring and consulting with DC area startups. He focuses on Product Management best practices, Product Design, and Product Strategy to help startups scale their product teams and make major impact.

    Zach Boisi

    As Chief Customer Officer at Lotame, Zach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of client implementation, management and success as well as maximizing client adoption, engagement, usage, retention and growth at Lotame. Prior to joining Lotame, Boisi was Client Services Director for newBrandAnalytics (nBA), a provider of Social Market Intelligence. Boisi also held principal positions in Affiliate Sales & Marketing and Organizational Strategy & Optimization at Network Solutions, and several leadership positions at Sears Holdings Corporation including Chief of Staff, Director of Talent Development and Innovation Associate for the company’s Senior Leadership Program. 

    Boisi received his BA in American Studies from Yale University and his MBA from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the inaugural Chairman of the Board for Nourish Now, a non-profit organization that tackles hunger issues, and is a Co-Founder of the Young Professional Advisory Board for the Mentoring Partnership of New York.
