We're lucky to have software veteran and University of Waterloo grad, April Dunford join us to kick off our first ProductTank Waterloo session. April has been a featured speaker at La Product, Unbounce's CTA conf, Startupfest, SaasStock, GrowthHackers and many more.

Agenda - starts at 7PM
* Networking and beverages
* April's presentation + Q&A
* More networking

April is an executive consultant, speaker, and author who helps technology companies make complicated products easy for customers to understand and love. She is a globally recognized expert in Product Positioning. Previously April has run marketing and product teams at a series of successful technology startups and has launched 16 products into market. She is also a board member, investor, and advisor to dozens of high-growth businesses and is the author of the upcoming book Obviously Awesome: How to Nail Product Positioning so Customers Get it, Buy it, Love it.

From April:
One of the biggest challenges we face as startups is getting customers to understand what we do and why they should care in seconds against thousands of alternatives. We need to make our products obviously awesome. In this session, I will teach you how to deliberately shape how customers perceive your product and give examples of startups that used these techniques to achieve breakthrough revenue growth.

Zeitspace in Uptown Waterloo is our host for now but we may need to shift venues to accomodate larger numbers.
