PWMC is focused on impacting the professional lives of women in and around McLean County. Each month we offer a membership program with topics focused on professional and personal development.
New in 2017!! We will still be meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Eastland Suites Hotel & Conference Center. Due to repeated requests from members we are changing our meeting time to the lunch hour - 11:45am - 1:00pm!
Membership in PWMC is $230 annually and can be paid in two installments of $115 in January and July of each year. You're also welcome to come as a guest at any time. Your first meeting is free and each meeting you visit, thereafter is $20.
The world remains far more unsafe for women than men. Every day, all over the world, women experience unsafe or uncomfortable environments or incidents of verbal, non-verbal or physical harrassment.
Even right here in Central Illinois, crime is real and pervasive.
Join Professional Women of McLean County in welcoming Officer Greg Leipold from the Normal Police Department to discuss safety – in our homes, in our workplaces and in our community.
Officer Leipold will help us identify our own unsafe habits and behaviors and share safety and self-defense tips. In addition, he will update us on crime statistics and information for our local community.
Plan to join us on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 for this important discussion. Advance registration (http://pwmcinc.org/fearless-when-youre-alone/) is requested so that we can have enough seating and food prepared!
