Professional writers ONLY meetup. A meetup group for working, professional writers. NO wannabees or aspiring writers.
Bring that essay, article, book chapter you’ve been working on that just isn’t coming together and get feedback from colleagues. Fiction or non-fiction writers welcome.
You MUST be (or have been) published—i.e. you got paid for your work. Non-literary writing is OK--so if you're in advertising or PR but working on a book or article for publication please apply. If your only book/s is self-published that is NOT a criteria for admission unless you are also a professional writer.
Don’t forget to bring on the funny. Snark is a plus. If you can make us laugh we may lower the bar for acceptance.
