ESL Workshop - Common American Slang Words and Expressions

  • Dec 15, 2013 · 2:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This workshop will be about some of the most common slang words and expressions used in the US. Whether you're meeting friends or getting work done, people use a lot of slang words here. So we will look at both the social context as well as work situations.

• We will start with a short presentation where we will look at meanings and examples of each word or expression.

• We will then discuss specific scenarios where these words/expressions are used.

Come prepared to participate in the discussion, ask questions and share your experiences. The more specific questions you have, the more you will benefit from this workshop.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Hello, I would like to know if this kind of groups have meetings in areas closer to Belmont, CA or in the San Mateo area.

Hi Sonia, unfortunately we only have workshops in San Francisco. You might find other meetup groups doing similar classes in San Mateo or Belmont.
