There's a new Congressional Freethought Caucus in Congress, and they're ready to advance legislation to protect our secular government, and not just fight back against the Christian Right's attacks on it.
To continue making an impact on Capitol Hill, the Secular Coalition for America needs local grassroots activists to support its federal lobbying, so they're hitting the road to mobilize their constituency.
Sarah Levin, Director of Grassroots and Community Programs at the Secular Coalition for America (SCA), will share updates from SCA's lobbying team on Capitol Hill and present SCA's Secular Values Voter campaign, a long-term vision to build and mobilize a cohesive, influential secular voting bloc united by shared secular values. This action- oriented presentation is geared toward individuals and community organizers looking for ways to get more involved in political advocacy.
