Frontrunners Rhode Island (www.frontrunnersri.com) is a friendly group of LGBTQ (lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender-queer ) runners and fitness enthusiasts who get together weekly for runs/walks and yoga sessions in Providence. We meet every Monday and Thursday evening at 6 PM . Walkers and all running paces welcome.
Thursday evening run: we meet at 6 PM at the north end of Blackstone Boulevard where Hope Street meets Blackstone Blvd. This is very close to Three Sisters Coffee Shop and India restaurant (if you are unfamiliar with this area, you may enter the address of Three Sisters in your GPS or use 1074 Hope St, Providence, RI 02906 (http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?cp=41.85637~-71.3914&where1=Three%20Sisters&FORM=SNAPST)). Look for us gathering under several trees right next to a bench where the pathway begins. We all go to a nearby restaurant for a quick bite after our run.
Monday evening run + yoga: we meet at 6 PM in Lippitt Park for a 3 mile run followed by a free, exhilarating outdoor yoga session (https://www.frontrunnersri.com/yoga.html) at 6:40 PM. This light-hearted class is geared toward runners and athletes but is also suitable for anyone interested in practicing yoga. A blend of Vinyasa and Hatha styles, this style is meant to be accessible to all, regardless of experience! Classes are taught by Erik Strzempko, a yoga teacher since 2010 and certified eRYT-500 with Yoga Alliance. For more about Erik check out www.tentreeswellness.com (http://www.tentreeswellness.com/).

Membership to Frontrunners Rhode Island is free. Our community yoga is also free. We do have a Frontrunners donation box that is put out every Monday in front of the yoga class. We kindly ask for any donation you can give whenever you attend one of our yoga classes. This helps our club pay for various expenses such as our website fees, cost to join Meetup, Pridefest booth registration and supplies, etc. Suggested minimum donation is $2 but all are welcome.
