PubRun is a new meet-up and it’s growing fast!

Our regular Sunday night session around the Meadows will not run this week. Instead, we'll run a longer route (~9k) around Arthur's Seat and finish at The Salisbury Arms by 12.30 for a roast and pints afterwards.

We'll meet by the Middle Meadow Walk entrance to the Meadows (The 5-way junction) at 10:50, ready to set off at 11!

I don't know anyone - will I feel left out?
It's really important to us that this group doesn't feel in any way cliquey. Pretty much everyone arrives on their own and we have new people joining us every week - so we make a massive effort to make them feel welcome. Plus, we've only been running ('scuse the pun) for a short time, so we're all technically 'new' :)

I can't make this date - do you run on any other days?
Yes - but we don't always publish them on meet-up. Send a message to PubMum Lisa Mahoney if you'd like to be added to our PubRun WhatsApp group.

How fast do you run?
We take a pretty easy pace and make sure no one gets left behind (although if you feel like it, you're more than welcome to steam on ahead). PubRun is less about the running, more about the socialising.

Is Runch suitable for beginners?
As the Runch route is longer than the regular Meadows run and includes some short sections with gradient inclines, it may not be suitable for complete beginners. If you can run for 40 minutes, you should be fine! (There's no harm in walking up the hills!)

What if it rains?
We run in all weather - but if you don't fancy running in the rain, you can just join us for the lunch part ;)

As this is a free-to-attend group, organised by someone much like yourself, participation in PubRun events is at your own risk.
